# Edit and Manage a Session

Edit what clients see, set how your AI runs the conversation, and control when a session goes live.

## Edit a Session

In the sidebar, open the AI block and select **Sessions**, then open any session from the list to edit it. Changes save on their own — each edit flashes **Saving…** then **Saved · Undo**, so you can revert in one click. The session is organized into three sections:

* **What clients see** — the **Hook** (the opening line a client sees) and the **Outline** (the short summary on the session card).
* **How your AI runs it** — your **Guidance**: how you usually run this, the tone, the openers, what to avoid. Your AI uses this to shape the conversation. Pinned moves you've committed to appear here too.
* **Setup** — **Content scope** (which Resources this session draws on), **Behavior** (inherits from your account by default), the **Model**, and **Content generation**.

Keep guidance short and specific. A few clear lines beat one long paragraph.

## Activate, Pause, or Delete a Session

A session only reaches clients while it's active.

1. In the sidebar, open the AI block and select **Sessions**, then open the session from the list.
2. Select **Activate** to make it live, or **Deactivate** to pause it. A paused session stays in your list but stops running for clients.
3. To remove it for good, select **Delete**, then confirm. Clients won't see it again, and past runs stay in their conversation history.

If a session is paused, any embed for it shows a reminder that clients may not get the full experience until you activate it.

## Find a Session by Its State

The **Sessions** list groups each one by state so you can see where to spend your time:

* **Needs a look** — sessions your AI has flagged for your attention.
* **Running smoothly** — sessions performing as expected.
* **Quiet** — sessions clients rarely start.
* **Drafts and paused** — sessions not yet live, plus ones you've deactivated.
