# Add Resources to Your Library

Upload files, paste links, or write a quick note so your AI answers from your material, not a generic web summary.

> **Your AI** is available on certain plans and app types. If you don't see the AI block in your sidebar, please check our pricing page for more information.

## Upload Files

In the sidebar, open the AI block and select **Resources**. The top of the page gives you a few ways to add material — start with what you already have.

1. Drag files onto the drop zone, which reads "Drop files to upload — PDF, Word, CSV, Excel, Markdown, video."
2. Or select the drop zone to browse and pick files from your device.
3. Start with the pieces you'd send a new client in week one — program outlines, FAQs, key PDFs.

Each upload becomes a Resource your AI can use in answers.

## Add Links

Add a link when the material already lives on the web.

1. In the quick-add strip, select **Add links**.
2. Paste a URL, or several separated by commas.
3. YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, and Fathom links work here.

## Quick Note

Write a note when you want to capture guidance without making a file first.

1. In the quick-add strip, select **Quick note**.
2. Type the guidance, FAQs, or talking points straight in.
3. Save it — no file needed.

## Track Reading and Fix Failed Resources

After each add, your AI starts reading the Resource so they can use it in answers.

1. The row shows **Reading…** while that runs. Larger files take longer.
2. When reading finishes, the Resource is ready to use in answers.
3. A Resource marked **Failed** wasn't read. Open the row's menu and select **Retry indexing**.
4. If it fails again, replace it with another export — for example, a PDF instead of a complex file type.
