# Set Your AI's Speaking Pace

Control how fast your AI speaks once they have a voice.

## Adjust the Voice Speed

**Voice speed** controls how fast your AI speaks once a voice model exists.

1. In the sidebar, open the AI block — it carries your AI's name — and select **Identity & voice** (previously Profile).
2. In the **Voice speed** card, drag the slider between **Slower**, **Natural**, and **Faster**.
3. The value (for example, 1.0×) updates as you drag and saves when you release.

Most creators stay near **Natural**. The slider stays locked until you have a voice model with at least one verified sample.
