## Choose Your Setup Path

The wizard opens on **Who connects your Apple Developer account?** Both paths end with your app in the App Store.

* **I'll do it myself** — best if you're comfortable following precise instructions.
* **Do it with me** — a Passion expert takes over on a call with you.

Take the guided path if you've never used App Store Connect. The steps are exact, and a wrong value in the wrong field is slower to unpick than to get right the first time.

## Get Your Apple Developer Account

Apple requires the developer account to be in your own name or your company's. Set it up on Apple's website first — nothing else can proceed without it.

Expect Apple to verify you, which can take days rather than minutes. Start this before anything else in your launch plan.

## Create Your App on Apple's Website

1. Create your app in App Store Connect.
2. Enter **your app's bundle ID** — App Store Connect asks for this when you create the app. Copy it exactly from Studio.
3. Keep Apple's confirmation email; the wizard refers to it.

If Studio reports **Bundle ID not found**, the value in App Store Connect doesn't match the one in Studio. Compare them character by character rather than retyping from memory.

## Connect Your Keys

The wizard asks for three things from your Apple account:

1. **App Store Connect API key** — lets Studio submit on your behalf.
2. **Sign in with Apple key** — required because your app offers sign-in.
3. **In-app purchase key** — needed if you sell plans inside the app.

Each is saved and encrypted once uploaded. Your listing details are confirmed alongside them — name, icon, and description.

## Submit to Apple

1. Confirm your listing is complete — see [Prepare Your App for the Stores](/help/put-your-app-in-the-stores/prepare-your-app-for-the-stores.md).
2. Select **Submit to Apple**.
3. Watch the status. It moves through **Building** and **Submitted** to **In review**, then **Live**.

If it comes back as **Action required**, the panel names what Apple wants. Fix that one thing and resubmit; Apple reviews the whole app again each time, so bundling fixes is faster than submitting repeatedly.

Once live, use **Publish update** for later changes rather than starting a new submission.
