# Connect Stripe and Zapier

Connect the tools that take your payments and automate what happens when something changes in your app.

> **Integrations** is available on certain plans and app types. If a tool shows as **On higher plans**, please check our pricing page for more information.

## Open Your Connected Tools

Open the account menu, select **Settings**, then **App settings** → **General** → **Integrations**. **Connected tools** lists each tool and whether it's connected.

A tool reading **Not connected** is available on your plan and waiting for you. One reading **On higher plans** needs an upgrade first.

## Connect Stripe

**Stripe** takes payments and receives your payouts. Connect it before you publish a paid plan, because a plan with no payment route can't be bought.

1. Select **Stripe**.
2. Complete the connection with your Stripe account.
3. Have your business details, bank account, and identity documents ready — see [Track Subscriptions and Set Up Payments](/help/sell-access-to-your-app/see-subscriptions-and-payouts.md).

## Connect Zapier

**Zapier** automates 6,000+ apps when events happen in your app. Connect it when you want something outside Studio to react to what your clients do.

1. Select **Zapier**.
2. Complete the connection.
3. Build your automation in Zapier, using your app's events as the trigger.

Common uses: adding a new member to your email list, posting a welcome message, or logging a completed course to a spreadsheet. Start with one automation you'd otherwise do by hand every week.
