# Update Your Payment Method

See what you pay and when, then update your card through the secure Stripe billing portal.

The **Payment method** section shows what you pay, how often, and what's coming next.

1. In the sidebar, open the account menu and select **Account**. The page opens on **Subscription & plans**.
2. In the **Payment method** section, read the billing line — for example, **$49.00 billed monthly**. If you have no active paid subscription, it says **No active paid subscription**.
3. Below it, check **Next invoice on \[date] for \[amount]** so you know what to expect and when.
4. If a breakdown icon appears next to the next invoice, hover it to see each line item.
5. Select **Manage billing** to open your secure Stripe billing portal in a new tab, where you update the card.

Payments are processed by Stripe. The links on this page come from your account, so you always land on the genuine Stripe Customer Portal.
